Cosmetic Blemishes | Motorcycle Technology Review

The Rear Gear Assembly connects the Drive Shaft to the Rear Wheel Hub to drive the Rear Wheel. This part is sometimes called a Rear Chunk or Pumpkin.
A used Rear Gear Assembly will be clean and in good condition. It will operate smoothly and correctly. All used Rear Gear Assemblies are thoroughly tested before being placed into inventory. Due to the location of this component on the bike, cosmetic blemishes are considered normal wear. Slip-fit drive shafts are not included with a used Rear Gear Assembly.

The Engine Cases or Engine Block surround the internal engine components such as the Crank and Transmission. Engine Cases split either horizontally or vertically to provide access to the internal components. They are machined as a set from the factory, sold as a set, and must be replaced as a set.
A set of Engine Cases will be clean and undamaged, and will show no internal signs of wear. All mounts will be intact. Any cleaning or refurbishing required to provide you with a good usable set of cases will be done prior to shipment. Cosmetic blemishes, paint chips, etc. are considered normal wear.

Kawasaki Model Identification Note: On all Kawasaki models produced after 1980, the 7th digit of your motorcycle’s VIN (it is a letter) is critical in identifying the model of motorcycle you own. For example, if you own a 2000 ZX6, and the 7th digit of the VIN is an E, then you own a 2000 ZX6 E; If you own a 2001 Vulcan 1500, and the 7th digit of the VIN is a G, then you own a 2001 Vulcan 1500 G. Please confirm the 7th digit of your VIN number before placing your order.
